    1993 vs. 1988

Well the 88 ain't gonna happen! Guy won't get right on the price. Guess I'm gonna go with the 93 and hope for the best with the title not being a problem! Provided he still has it tomorrow I will be taking him $500 and ordering some 1.5 inch spacers to get it up to 4.5 total inches. It needs...

    1993 vs. 1988

Okay, so the 93 is a better deal, because of the engine, and fuel management system. I guess I can just get some burnt orange paint, and paint it. Does anyone know anything regarding the Salvaged title? How hard is it to buy a vehicle with a salvaged title and transfer it into my name?

    1993 vs. 1988

I can get one or the other for about the same price. Both have pros and cons and trying to decide. 1988 is in better shape, but has overheating problems. Runs good, but overheats and owner shuts it down. Says he's never let it get over 210. Has a clean title. Aftermarket wheels with street 31s...

Looks like I got me one

Sweet. Hopefully I can go pick this thing up soemtime this week. We agreed on $600 bux for it. I am hoping I can get it in my posession soon, so I can add some spacers and get her up on some 32, and then think about some gears.

Looks like I got me one

I think I finally have me an XJ. After years and years of drooling over them, I think I finally found the one I am gonna get. It's a 1993 Sport 4 door. It's got a 3 inch pro-comp lift with springs and arms in the front. Not sure on the back. Only problem is, it's got a rebuilt title as it's been...

    Finally found an XJ

She loves the open air feeling, and would probably enjoy the hell out of that, but I somewhat like having the wife around, and she'd kill me! Too bad, I can't see Craigslist at work. I will have to check those out when I get home this evening. Thanks for looking out guys. It seems like this...

    Finally found an XJ

Well, i never heard back from him. I found a few stockers thought last night in the $400-$800 range. Thanks for the heads up on the Comanche, but I need the back seat for my daughter. She's still in a car seat, and she likes to go on country drives down dirt roads and such. As far as a...

    Finally found an XJ

I haven't heard from him. I am waiting. I have been looking for about a year, but it's just a toy, so I ain't gonna sink a bunch of money into it right off the bat. I do, however, want something I can drive, but needs to do some work on.

    Finally found an XJ

I emailed him back, and told him I have $500 I would bring him this weekend. I haven't heard back. He said something to the extent of needing a column, because it has to be cranked with a screw driver. I am assuming maybe the key barrel is messed, which is nothing too big of a concern if I get...

    Finally found an XJ

I have been in the market for a decent XJ for a while. waiting on the right one to come along. I found a 1993 model in town for sale. It's a 4 door 4 wheel drive. Exactly what I am looking for. It needs tires and a steering column. Guy says it's tapping when idling, like maybe the lifters or...

    4.2 Wrangler motor

Does anyone know of any good websites to find used but good engines? I know this ain't an XJ, but I figured you guys could help me out. I got an 89 Wrangler with a blown motor, and don't care or have the money or time for a swap. I have searched the whole southeast for one on craigslist, but had...
