Bad sensor.
Couple things.
Check your actual temp, get a new gauge and sensor, very easy to do, search it.
You can always wire your elec fan to a switch thru a relay, too
IIRC!!!!! The pre-cat sensor controls the PCM, the post cat sensor monitors the first one.. which would lead me to believe, that the post cat one is the one that kicks your CEL?!

If you got it off, why cant you get it back on?
Disco swaybar, trackbar, and shocks, SAFELY put a botle jack b/w axle and "frame".. jack up... you should be good to go
3.73's are fine on a 4 cylinder with 31's so Id imagine youd be fine on your diesel rig.. Wait for a sure-fire answer tho.
I dont personaly see the need to regear unless going 4.56 or deeper...
Theyre referring to a tap st startup, if the oil drains back down, the top end will be "dry".. with an "anti-syphon valve" in your filter, it wont allow this to happen, aka less distance for the oil to travel to soak the top end
Well , motor mounts are going to keep your motor from twisting side to side, for forward/backwards movement, this would most likely relate to your transmission mount.
Make sure your front clip is bolted down tight, and your new radiator gets put into the pegholes correctly.
