Some of you may know but.....

Don't know about budget, I'm pretty convinved that ORI's are the only way to go, but outside of that I know that the engine and trans will be budget only because they are a dime a dozen, and the axles won't be bad, but I hate to see what my bill from Tyler will end up being:) The only other...

Some of you may know but.....

I got rid of my jeep. I know what the hell did I do that for right? I will build another soon enough and hopefully not make some of the same mistakes the second time around. If you run in to him on the trails, be nice, he can't really help the way he is. It will probably be broken down or...

    Who's Going?

I hate to say it but I'm out this year. Had the money set aside and then my oldest dog got sick, wiped out the crawl money and then some. May still try to make it up there on Saturday for a day, but will be looking for a ride on the trails.

    Storms

Alive and well, with the exception of needing a shower. No damage to the house but no power either, at least the weather is mild. Don't know what to say about the storms and loss of life, it's all just a little too much.

    Rear Bumper Build ??????'s

It blocks the left light a little but not a whole lot. I mounted the plate to the swing arm, and it sits high because I'll end up with 35 back there.

    Rear Bumper Build ??????'s

It's a leverage thing. With the tire offset closer to the pivot point, the weight is handled better. If the pivot was on the right and the tire on the left then the weight of the tire would be placing significantly more force on the pivot, possibly more than 4x more force (could be wrong, my...

    Rear Bumper Build ??????'s

I gotta say, I really like the offset. Ended up mounting my CB antenna on the vertical post of the swingaway as well. The pic below doesn't show it but I drilled and tapped the lower bar to mount my plate.
