    yes - bolts are same. Get the fuel lines back to the metal lines on the inner fender rail - then use couplings to go back to the fuel cell.

    9et a 91 - 95 fuel rail with the return line and regulator. Then any inline pump (I have a Holley) designed for fuel injection pressures (45lb)

    purplexj TJ 4 cyl front coils will lower the MJ front by 1" - 1 1/2" and XJ shackles will drop the rear by about 1/2".

    And if you are rebuilding its cheaper to get a complete rering kit. Places like Northern auto Parts sell a kit with gaskets, rings bearings, etc for less than you can buy them seperatly. www.northernautoparts.com

    TJ trac lock

    I changed gears so had to set up the rear - if using the same R&P all you would need to set is the backlash as the pinion shims don't need to be touched.

    I have 35K miles on the Comp 235-4 (one step up from the 231) in my 89 stroker and it has 16" vacumn and runs fine.

    TJ trac lock

    It does fit and it does work! I put one in my 89 D44 - DD and Logging roads in Maine. Makes a big improvement over an open unit. Yes there are better - more expensive units - I paid $50 for a take-out from a 2000 (IIRC).

    Check the thickness - I beleive that is too thick to fit.

    Swapping in a 92 4.0litre into a 97 XJ

    The 92 long block is exactly the same as the 97 - use all 97 manifolds, power steering, etc and you are good to go.

    No one has suggested a lean condition? I would build an adjustable MAP sensor and richen up the fuel to test it out. My 4.0 with K&N and Borla headers needed more fuel to perform properly. assuming no vacumn leaks I'd try building an adjustable MAP - lean condition causes quick warm up and hot...
