Re: Acetone will increase MPG?!?! I'd like to try this (I'm sure everyone here does) but one thing I haven't seen discussed is the effect on the fuel lines? Will the acetone cause them to wear out faster? Will it eat through it right away or will it be fine? TIA, Rough

what year XJ are you running? I ask since the newer (97+) XJs don't handle 3+ lifts without transfer case lowering kits or SYE+ new driveshaft. A 3"+ lift may require more than what comes with those lifts you mentioned. If money is an issue then I would suggest saving a little longer and get...

I chose the cut/bend method to trim my '98, 4-door. I also used sheet metal screws to hold them in place. I also cut the plastic lip off of the bottomw of the flairs themselves to help with clearance. Here's some pics of the final results...
