i have definately had fouled plugs due to trying to start a vehicle too many times when something was broken, then u fix the problem and it still wont start all cause u forgot to clean the plugs after the repair...i usually pull them out and clean them of with brake cleaner, dry em off and put...

u need to check the splines on the t case...i know that a 92 4.0 should have 23 output trans splines....unless someone put an older trans in it or sumthin...the only way to know for sure is to remove the case and count em...u can use the planetary set out of the t case that is in ur jeep now if...

well i cant remember if the slave cylinder is external or internal on the trans(my jeep is auto) but if it is external then u can just unbolt it and bolt it back up and bleed the system, however i always replace it all, master cylinder, slace cylinder and resevior at the same time...chances are...

when they are that stuck ur best bet is yo blast em like u did, and then u just have to deal with the fact that it is just a pain in the ass,also as u are turning thew bolt out, say for every 4 turns out or so, run the bolt back in a little. this can sometimes help

did u check for broken wires??mayb when the motor moves a certain way while driving, a wire will touch causing ur code/loss of power...i would check continuity from the crank sensor connector to the pcm, as u wiggle the harness around...hopefully that helps

yeh definately didnt look like excessive backlash at all.....the pinion seemed to contact the ring gear like it should...hard to tel by the video but looked fairly normal...usually that clunk u hear is associated with the transfer case, especially if its a 242....they are notorious for that

well u can use a track bar bracket at 3 or so and at over 4 u need to go adjustable...

ok kool thanks for the info that told me everything i need i believe...i should be able to use the intake manifold off of the 89 on the 99 engine right?if so that will take care of any sensor issues or anything..i was just not sure if the cylinder heads were the same or not...thats my biggest...

if u can jump the solenoid and get it to start its the solenoid...replace the starter
