I live in buffalo, ny... we get a fair amount of snow. This is the first year with my aussie in the front. If in 4wd you cannot turn while powering, the truck will just go straight. let off the gas and turn slow (should do that anyway) In bad conditions I find my self using 4wd from a slippery...
I tried posting in the picture showcase but it wouldn't let me...??? So, I made a front bumper using 1/4" for the frame mounts, the harbor freight universal winch mount, 2x3 tubing, some 3/16" for skid plate & 3/16" diamond design for the top. The shackle mount is intergrated into the frame...
the tires are the pep boys 31" mud tire about 40% worn. the rims are AR with 4" backspacing. I want to rotate my wheels and see if that helps (maybee the one in the front is of center). If that does not help I will at 1 more oz to each tire.

I've been having some trouble with my back pass. brake locking up slightly. So I went to remove the lug nuts on the wheel and my impact gun didn't have enough torque to break them loose (the place I had my wheels put on must of had a beefy one). So I put the socket on a 1/2 ratchet and started...
Did I read somewhere that you shouldn't move your car even 5 feet with a broken u joint? It was like in some DANA 30 tech or something, could this have something to do with your locker busting. I'm not an axle expert....
Microsoft Streets and Trips with GPS Locator. Tells you your elevation, speed almost exactly. Will automatically account for construction. Haven't figured it out so it will automatically re-route you if you miss a turn. Can get confusing at confusing intersections. All in all good product
I had to take of the flywheel on a spare rotary engine I had and I think it was like 1 3/4" so I went over to Harbor Freight and bought the big set of sockets (was like 50 bucks) used it and returned it.... I know im a bad person but I figured I'd pay them back for all there shit that don't work....
