Speakin of budget, I've found a 6.5 inch long arm kit by rough country on ebay for just over 1k with shocks. I've heard that these lifts are weak, but they supposedly come with a lifetime warranty. Anyone hear anything about these lifts? I don't do any hard wheelin but do enjoy messin around...

Can you answer a question I have about the cross member bolts? The one coming down out of the frame- is that a stud or is it an actual bolt coming through the frame. I went to put my tranny drop spacers on and the bolt coming down isn't long enough. Any ideas?

Shit, what am I doing wrong? I just lifted my XJ 4.5 inches and am just runnin some 31's on it and am lucky to get 14 mpg.

So does anybody have any info on gettin parts for the front end conversion? I've found a couple sights that sell them in bulk but don't know enough XJ drivers to make the orders.
