    so I've done a bunch of research on this and I'm pretty much screwed right? reverse on the aw4 is purely mechanical with no electronic influence so there's no potential quick fix =( all forward gears work great, reverse slips bad with anything more than barely cracking the throttle. replaced...

    gen III chevy is going to be the best bang for your buck motor wise, for $500 in the junk yard you can get a low mile 5.3... factory roller, aluminum heads, 300+ hp etc. as far as easiest to fit under the hood, ford 5.0 is tiny compared to a gen III

    costco has a cresent tool kit with folding case for $100 that is pretty complete, 1/4 3/8 1/2 drive, deep sockets, wrench set, everything is in metric and standard etc., just need to throw a bfh and a couple odds and ends under the seat and you're good to go. the case fits perfectly behind the...

    Would you buy a 7.3l with REALLY high miles?

    my buddy has a 94 f350 with the 7.3 powerstroke, its got 340k miles and runs like a champ. as long as they're maintained the 7.3 runs forever. avoid the older non-powerstrokes though, even with the banks turbo and whatnot they are dogs

    nice! that will be perfect with my shackles (they gave me exactly 1" with stock springs) the posts I read must have been running 2" shackles or AALs in conjunction with the ome hd springs and I'm just retarded and miss read them or something haha :dunce: btw that's a good looking xj muddeprived...

    those look like bad ass springs, but the smallest they have is 4"... I don't want the typical stinkbug xj lift haha. I was thinking about the HD OME 2" springs but everyone says those give you close to 4" of lift :dunno:
