I believe atf+3 is semi synthetic and atf+4 is full synthetic but also have different friction modifiers than dexIII. Dex/merc is a universal fluid that will work for dexIII and Mercon V. I try to stay away from the universal stuff.

I have the one with the bellows from ebay. 2 yrs and no problems. My opinion is all the ones with the bellows are made in the same Chnese factory. I bought mine for like 50 on ebay, and it was the exact one as the Motormite brand that Advance auto sells for 150-200. This is the one I got also...

I have a JCR on my XJ with the tie in brackets. Ive used the recovery points a few times and all is well. Its a nice unit. Not just a straight rectangular tube. It is angled a bit on both ends with a plate on top to cover the gap. I love it.

I did it for the fact that they had less mileage on em. They do have a higher flow rate, But I havent noticed if they help or not. I added a tb spacer and k & n at the same time. It does run great.
