I have a 1989 Limited XJ with a non-vacuum disconnect and a 1989 2 door base with a vacuum disconnect.

My Jeep has a very simliar problem. The turn signal indicator stays on solid all the time when it is suppost to blink with the turn signal. I have replaced the flasher and still can not get blinkers to flash.

Why don't you just buy a 1.5 amp battery companion there like $18.00 at Wal-Mart. They charge the battery and turn off when fully charged. When battery get's below 70% it will kick on charge up and kick off. I have one for my four wheeler and Jeep they work great...

X50 for FRAM FILTERS SUCKING I HATE FRAM FILTERS. They use cardboard end caps when all other use metal among the numerous infearer components. I prefer NAPA (wic's) or Purolator brands.
