    Short arm vs Long arm

    Upgraded to the Iron Rock Offroad long arm kit about a year or so ago. Still get giddy over the how well it flexes every time out, so it was worth it. Also, the ride is good. Upgrade,and never look back.

    3-4.5" lift wanted and 31" tires

    Will a 3.5" lift off a 97 XJ work? is so, may have all the parts you need.

    4.56 gears and 35??

    Regeared to 4.56 in prep for 35's a couple of months ago. So.. the decision of 33's or 35's is still not decided. Then, is 4.5" of lift OK for the 35's, or upgrade... but that's prob never been debated before. I'll have to check.

    Have had a similar problem with an oil leak dripping on the exhaust header, mostly when stopping. So.. Completly washed down the trans housing, bell housing, and engine oil pan.     3in lift 35"s

    Sunburned - Thanks for the link. Have been stalling upgrading to 35"s with a 4 or 4.5" lift and Iron Rock LA Kit which is currently on the XJ. It flexs great, but still rubs once in a while with 31". So... bump stop and trip.
