My '96 is lifted 3" with AALs so my ride is harsh enough as it is. Since I do mostly street driving seems it may be best to go with the DT3000s with a softer ride(if that is in fact true).
Anybody give me any comparisons between the two?

I've been looking around online at the Doesch Tech shocks. I think Im going to give them a shot since it looks like they can be had for under $200.
I have a 3" lift on my '96. My current shocks are going, one is already blown and leaking. I don't know what brand they are since they were on there when I bought it.

Sounds like an aftermarket install to me. Alot of dealers will send out for installs too...who knows. Most installers are hacks and will beat the crap or tear up the backing board. A quality headliner shop will be able to fix it for you. I just had a truck with an aftermarket sunroof and...
