    Are DT8000 pre-runners overkill over DT3000?

    My '96 is lifted 3" with AALs so my ride is harsh enough as it is. Since I do mostly street driving seems it may be best to go with the DT3000s with a softer ride(if that is in fact true). Anybody give me any comparisons between the two? Thanks
