Yep, pretty much related to u joints that are worn out.

I replaced all u joints including the double in my 98 with tom woods u joints. It was not hard but was tedious and time consuming. There is a little hum at around 75 mph. I am going to take it to a shop and have them check it out. There is a 2000 shop manual some where on line maybe one of...

Contact Banks, They are supposed to have a complete exhaust system engineered and due out any time. I talked to them about 2-3 months ago. The system will be Header to tail pipe just for 4.0. My cat is got the rattles and I want to replace it all.

I agree with all above but go for the 242 transmission, Select trac (full time 4x4) 231 Command Trac (part time 4x4). when i bought mine that was one of the key things I looked for and wouldn't settle for less. Good luck and welcome to XJ world
