I'm looking for a Xj that is already built and in good running condition. I'm not looking for a project. Must have working heat and a/c, lift, wheels and tires. Id prefer something on 35's. Please PM or email me what you have. Will spend good money for a good rig.

The red and copper ones are nice finds. What do you guys think the Red one is really worth?

A vehicle is worth what someone is willing to pay. With that said, I see far less built xj's (97-01) with a 9-12k price tag all of the time. I'm sure some people sit on it for a while too. The 97-01 xj has gone up a lot in demand. As someone who would rather build a jeep the way I want to, I would never pay that much. However, someone looking for a fully built xj on 1 tons would probably have to pay close to what the owner is asking. I would say if I were in your situation I would pay 14 tops. You really would be hard pressed to build one for that price.

I found my rig! It's actually one that some people on the form may be familiar with. I looked at it 3.5 years ago when it was for sale but I had to pass on it then. It recently came back up for sale and I jumped on it. It was "BHICKS", Brads old rig. I'm super stoked, it only has 3500 more miles than it did then but it needs some fine tuning. I think it needs shocks, some bushings, and for sure an alignment. I will post some pictures up soon! Thanks again for the leads. WN

That was a well built Jeep.
Congrats!
You should try to make So Cal Fest in May

March is next week. Red Letters would be a good start (=

Wow!!! I'm shocked you ended up with it. That is awesome!!. I'm very glad it went to somebody i have actually met and will appreciate and wheel it. You mentioned the shocks might need to be replaced. They only had about 1500 miles on them when I sold it and should now only have 5000 miles on them. Those rancho adjustables rode pretty nice. I'm doubting the shocks need to be replaced. The alignment was alwasy a mess when I had it. I just wheeled it WAY too often to try to keep it aligned. John Bull destroyed my aligment plenty of times. Now the BIG question. (Jedi mind trick being used) I know you want to sell it back to me. I just sold my build LX450 trail rig and am looking to get back into another trail rig. The new (to me) LX470 I just picked up is way to plush to build for extreme wheeling. The IFS front end also kinda kills any future wheelin.
