What I learned at WF

1) throwing up at the vfw sucks.
2) throwing up until 2:30 am sucks worse
3) some people do not have a pass code set on their phone
4) trying to wash soap off with soft water is damn near masturbation
5) I have meet some damn good people through this club
6) I bet I could have a ton of fun in a $500 rig
7) I would much rather puke because I drank too much vs being sick.
8) Naxja can tear up some $0.50 wings and $5 pitchers.

Re: What I learned at WF

1) if you bring bourbon to the potluck, make sure you have enough to share

2)I get tired a lot faster when heartburn limits my whiskey consumption

3) being in a group with rew makes you late for pizza.

4.) Next year there need to be enough $500 jeeps to have their own bracket at the obstacle course

Re: What I learned at WF

Ecoboosts are awesome
Dont cut across grass
Empire Offroad builds an awesome fire (even though it was shaped like a penis)
Losing your rear bumpstops somewhere during the weekend will put a damper on your obstacle course time

Re: What I learned at WF

4 am comes around real quick at the fire
I shouldn't wait another five years to make a WF
There are good people here that will help you out in a pinch, only took half an hour to find an alternator! Thanks again Kim!

Re: What I learned at WF

The other seanR is ugly.
When you pass around a bottle of Jameson it will stop at the other seanR and there it will stay until you forget about it.
Tyler has harry legs and is no fun to cuddle.
Hobag won't barf in a car less than a month old no matter how bad he feels.
Cheesebag
Winterfest can start on Wednesday night 300 miles from Attica.
It is too spread out and I don't get to see enough of every one.
I need to build a rig.
I miss seeing you aholes through out the year.

Re: What I learned at WF

Curry is not just a food, but an air freshener
Robies can not even do 3rd grade math, but it's always in our favor
Pizza hut can not do 1st grade math, it was not in our favor
Once you have seen the real SeanR's bare ass against a hotel window, that can not be unseen.....ever.
The Empire guys are good dudes
The WF buy n sell program is proving to be a success
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiibbbbbbs.............
I missed seeing JJ
I still get a chubby when I see Wades Comanche
Nate is the official MWC DD.
The Crossroads still has awesome breakfast, and dog butt ugly waitresses
The other SeanR has dreamy eyes...just one look, n you are hooked
Collin probably had more fun in a $500 zj than anyone else...n was a good sport for letting me use it as a pizza box trashcan
I witnessed more handshakes and hugs than at a political convention...but no mouth hugs.
Dan Wheeler makes cute daughters....but I'm gonna guess that they got their mothers hair.

Great event n was good to see everyone, we should do this more often........

Re: What I learned at WF

  1. Sponsors make this event amazing. (I already knew this)
  2. The BOD and additional volunteers make this awesome.
  3. I think Robbies sucks at math on purpose. When a waitress messes up your tab you're supposed to overtip, just the tip though....
  4. The Mobile-Marriott (aka The Jerky Oven or The Hotbox) was the best sleep I've ever had in the middle of that damn field
  5. HoBag must have drank the water or had the curry-ice at the hotel. #dontswallow
  6. Sorry to those I didn't chat with enough
  7. Sorry to those who I chatted with too much
  8. Year 2020 let's leave the Jeeps at home and all meet in some Florida drinking location and call it Spring Break

Re: What I learned at WF

Things I learned I already knew.

WF is always a good time.
Drunks can be amusing or incredibly annoying. I had a mixture of both.
no, I do not want to come sleep at the hotel.
The drive home sucks, even when it's not in a wienerbox or XJ.
Waffles.

Re: What I learned at WF

1. Collin puts on a great show in a $500 beater Jeep.
2. Copious amounts of rum will keep you warm.
3. MWC people can cook the hell out of some food.
4. We need an obstacle course at the Crawl in Harlan.
5. Empire never fails to provide some entertainment on the trails.
6. Flying in and riding shotgun is way less stressful.
7. March weather in Indiana is about as retarded as March weather in North Carolina.
8. Byron's 3-link did very well, and has me strongly considering doing the same thing.

Better go south enough to have warm water, March in the pan handle is chilly water (but beautiful beaches). Then again, I have a feeling that many are thinking of different scenery, me I just look forward to family time when it comes to going to Florida (Pensacola in Sept. hopefully for warm water and blue angels).
