Best photo spots in Moab

Lady and I are headed to Moab area next month to do some engagement photos. We were looking at some by the river in the canyon, from Moab rim, and maybe up on the trifecta looking east to mountains. Any other recommendations or places with great views? TOW?

Re: Best photo spots in Moab

I got married in Arches National Park, there are plenty of good photo spots there for group photos.

Re: Best photo spots in Moab

I like Arches for this.

Overlooks like Moab Rim, TOW, or Gold Bar/Spike are nice, but for portraits where you can recognize the people, the distant views don't really show much detail.

At Arches you can get right up to them and frame yourselves in an arch.

Mesa arch in Canyonlands is kinda the best of both worlds, with a fairly small, people scale arch with some fantastic views through it.

There is a overlook on Poison Spider, but it is a trail to get there.

I always liked Canyonlands for the views more than Arches.

Well we did arches nat’l. Got a few good grabs. See how they get edited and used. Was gorgeous. Had me missing a Jeep and sad we didn’t take the taco to play. Oh well.
