Palo Duro Canyon...

My brother and law and I are going to go camping at the state park and staying for the week. I'm just wondering if anyone has been and if there are any driving style trails (not wheeling, just sight seeing) in or around the state park?

The trails up there are only opened for the jeep jamoree's.

In the park or every trail in the area? I'm really just looking for dirt roads.

There is a jeep club up there in Amarillo too, but I can't remember the name of it. They might have some more info. I dont remember seeing any trails up there in the canyon last time I was there. There was a company that did jeep tours, but I'm not sure about the access to those trails.

Re: Palo Duro Canyon...

Well we got back, I found no dirt roads but my little XJ rear end has sagged and that wouldn't have been fun anyways. Here are a few pics from last week.
