I had a great time today. I'll let Mike tell the tale of creepy noises in the night.
The trail was loads of fun. I like how the obstacles have many choices of line from easy to difficult. Blacksheep walked everything Mike put it on, except the funky line on Double Whammy, or The Stairs according to traildamage. The bottom of it is all dug out and difficult to climb with our wheelbase. He made easy work of the hard line on Rock Pile and also the far left of Whale's Tail. We got through in about 3 hours, taking our time and playing a little on the obstacles.
On to the photos. Wasn't my best day taking photos. We were having fun and just blew from obstacle to obstacle without taking many flexy shots along the way.
Nearly had it at this point but it just wouldn't quite grab in the front to pull itself the rest of the way up.
Trying to go to sleep we hear some rocks crumbling and it gradually gets closer to out site. Next thing you know some elk or something is doing some damn mating call no more than 20-25 yards away. kept us up for a bit. Sounded Effin HUGE and close. And there were a couple roamin around......Bastiges.
Mikes rig, like i said did stellar, always goes where he wants. Was a lil wet on the trail in some spots. But was a super clean and fun day.
It will make you wish for long arms. Er at least when you had short ones. It is a sweet trail, I came wait to go.back and not have to spot, and not drive around all the really fun stuff. But that long bed extended cab long bed powerstroke did good!
