What I learned at WF

Yep, I remember. Jeep is ugly as sin now. It's no F's given from now on.

:like:

it's quite liberating when you just don't care anymore.
That's like the prime of your jeep's life right there.

Smashed asshole looking but still functional.

the functional bit fades fast though when the f's meter dwindles to 0.

Starting to notice that already 😑

rust holes make good cup holders.

the MI property is pretty sweet.

your tires in the mud aren't the only skid marks after sliding down a hill directly towards the river

if a guy tells a bunch of mwc guys if we don't have a winch we should use the by pass, we will all go for it.

sealing a tire with ether makes a cool noise.

my fenders and tires were in close contact with each other all day Saturday.

K5 Matt probably couldn't pass a beginners drivers ed reversing test.

glow sticks can keep a group busy for hours.

pat can catch a glow stick thrown in any direction.

Irish good by is the best way to leave the fire.

packing up always sucks, we should do WF every couple months.

K5 Matt probably couldn't pass a beginners drivers ed reversing test.

Yea, you should ask him about his backing up his K5. Or his Mercury. Or his Suburban. :D

Other things I learned...

Feed him a few beers and ol' K5Matt gets onto the chicken strips just terrible! Beg my pard!

Ho and Chzman can get me laughing till my sides hurt.

Spiders can live in toilets!

Renting a house at the Badlands is starting to be the normal way to do things.

My pile is pretty much done being built, but I'm still scoping out the $500 rigs to take next year...

We could dedicate a whole weekend to just hoisting a few and talking about other times that we DID wheel.

Hobag is going to get another Jeep... just a matter of time. :eyes:

I'd really like to see you all more often than I do.

When's the next cleanup at Redbird?

We could dedicate a whole weekend to just hoisting a few and talking about other times that we DID wheel.

We did that last fall at Warren Dunes, I didn't miss wheeling, was kinda nice to not break anything.

I think I figured out why WF is like a family reunion only better.

It's the family reunion where only the weird, wacky, and otherwise interesting family members attend :D
And the boringly normal ones stay home.

- Hobag can design an excellent 3 link kit
- Brad can assemble an excellent 3 link kit :D
- The "other" property is pretty nice
- It's great to wheel something other than Green
- A group can cover a lot of ground if they can keep from doing the typical NAXJA thing
- Manifold wyngz
- Renting a house is the way to go
- Everyone will ask your Southern co-pilot if he is cold

Great event, thanks to all who participated and big thanks to those that volunteered!

You can win the 33" and under class in the obstacle course race with no drivers side motor mount bushing.

Thats all I got.

If I were like the rest, now is when I'd put :

B "by 0.6 seconds" Taylor

I learned:

My new nickname might be "The screamer"

I wish I could whistle...maybe bringing my work whistle next year.

A small portable well working sound system might be worth it's weight in gold.

MWC folks still buy raffle tickets by the gross.

Manche has some upgrade ideas for the tumblers.

No one likes the BOD winning prizes...or the big one. :) John

My raffle luck might be ending.

Where the lift pump is on a 5.9 cummins.

Hobag gets wild when there's no rev limiter (ie wife).

This year might win the award for most puke.

Obstacle courses are more popular currently than barbie jeeps.

We will never forget Flex.

mac 'great weekend' gyvr

Brandin likes the skinny pedal

The Mattersons only count as one when it comes to who is last at the bonfire

Sams wife is super nice to me even though I keep her husband up all night drinking like a fool every time she sees me.

It is still satisfying surviving the chaos and being the last sitting over the WF bonfires remains!

Tylers ribs are so good they straight disappear

Taking "Collins wild ride" in the $500 beater on the short course run is unbelievably fun. If you can stop laughing long enough to breathe and manage not to smash your head on the roof.

Matt does not care about backing into trees, or whatever else is there. Idk if he even looks, lol.

Large dick shaped fires make great glow stick volleyball nets.

Having a tow rig and trailer is nice.

Having an ancient beater for a car hauler isn't quite as nice.

The "trailer repair" shop in Champaign Il can not repair trailers or supply many parts of trailers.

Angel Towing in Fithian Il is actually ran by an Angel, seriously.

Spending an extra 2 days stranded with my family is just as much of an adventure as planning to be there.

Not much can make you feel as hopeless as watching muddy water quickly engulf your interior up to your back pockets. New floors are already in process.
