What did you learn at Moab in 2023?

I learned:

Other people miss my LJ more than me...

I also forget that MOAB is soooo dry...

I never use Chapstick...unless I am in MOAB

I don't think that there could've been more perfect weather in Moab...

I used a drone in 2018 to capture a magazine cover shot...I never flew it in 2023...

My dad bought a camera for this trip...and learned how to use it on this trip...

Just when you think that no one will come...everyone shows up!!!

People like pizza...

JT > LJ

I never ever imagined that I would drive to Moab, wheel and drive home...3461.2 miles to be exact...

Never have I ever seen a sweep of the Longest, farthest, wheeled in an XJ swept by one person...a badass XJ that nearly swept the show n shine awards!

Being able to fly my wife in for the event is still pretty awesome.

Airline and hotel points rule...wish KOA points were worth more...not that saving 10% is nothing....

Kansass and E Colorado still suck to drive thru...

Cross winds suck...

An SXS is cool...until it's not...

JTR has ridiculous buttons in it...

At least 3 astronauts and one President are from Kansass...

I have never seen a McDonald's receipt this long (show 'n shine burgers)...

Flashlights go well with everything...

The permit process to have an event in MOAB is an unbelievable process...

Driving Kansass at night, you're not missing anything...

My windshield became a bug graveyard...but did not get cracked...

My Dad might never roadtrip with me in a vehicle again besides the RV (with a bathroom on board)...

When you leave Moab you are always thinking about the next trip!!!

Thanks for a great time, I had a blast!

I learned that a stock JL Rubicon on 33s is way more capable than I ever thought possible. (Driver Greg only had it for a week prior)

It did Metal Masher with very minimal rock stacking

The JL Rubicon Xtreme Recon package on stock 35's works really well. It also knocked down almost 20mpg driving too and from Moab.

Super glue works great for getting rubber hose to hold on to ARB air lines.
Thanks Rob!

Gladiators are pretty impressive.
