Pushed pins/poor contact in the connectors. Don't know- I'll check.
NSS needs to be replaced (I know you've already cleaned it, but it might just be beyond repair at this point) Its functioning normal as far as I can tell.
Kickdown cable properly adjusted? Seems to be.
How's the tranny fluid look/smell? Not bad/ not burnt.

Is it a constant problem or is it related to engine temp? Used to be temp related (occurred when it reached operating temp) but now is constant.

CEL has been off since I replaced the VSS and no codes are showing up.Speedo continues to constantly bounce from peg to peg.

Note: CEL is currently on due to the TCU being unplugged.

Possibly a bad cluster?

Range select signal goes throught he NSS, so if the contacts aren't in great shape the TCU/PCM will cause it to hunt for a gear. Been there, done that.

I'll bring my scanner to the M&G and we'll see what it tell's us.

Workin on a few things before the weekend! Don't think ill have ball joints installed though.
