Water issues.... pics

So finally got the 4x4 convert and been playin a little, less then 20 miles working out any problems. It does awsome drove up the road to buddys house for a bar-b-q and some fun after weeling the dry stuff figured id go through the edge of the pond just to throw a lil mud....FAIL

So after that we got it out a drained the oil, pulled the plugs. Verry lil water in oil, only water on cylinder 6 plug...dry it all put new oil in (my wifes expensive full synthetic) dry the water out of the intake SCARRY
and it started right up :woohoo: then i pulled forward so it was on level ground and it died again...
Now no start

i know i usually avoid anything more then puddles....not the best day

Hopefully, you turned the engine over while the plugs were still out. Really hope that that there wasn't still water in one of the cylinders. Ouch. Make sure you got the fuse boxes all dried out. you may have blown one.

Turned it over with plugs out. Getting really poor spark to distributer and nothin to plugs.

New cap/rotor and wires?

get some wire drier from AZ, and spray that chit down

sounds like it's time for new wires and coil. Hell upgrade to 8mm and a decent coil while you're at it.

you can head to Summitracing.com and find some stuff. but a trip to O'Reillys you should be able get one that's better than stock. Mallory and MSD brands come to mind.

Accell tune up kit plus msd coil. Buy it online. Should be under $100 if memory serves correctly.

8 mm wires from accell the v8 build to fit kit. And new coil she started right up
and if you take your time and measure carefully i wad enough wire to make a second set of 8 mm wires. Used the old boots from the last set. Thanks
