I tried using a Spal electric controller to solve the overheating problem I have. After installing the controller it wouldn't work with the stock electric fan motor. Spal recommended replacing the OEM electric fan with one of their own. I bought their fan and the controller continued to throw error codes saying it didn't recogize the fan and would shut down. With the hood up the controller worked perfectly. With the hood down the controller would overheat and shut down. This caused the fan to stop and the Jeep to overheat.
Has anyone else used this controller? Have you had similiar problems? How have you solved them? Where did you locate the controller?
