I am posting this where everyone can see for two reasons:
1) Not all former BOD members have access to the BOD forum.
2) At this time I am considering changes to the Chapter By-laws. I prefer to have some transparency for the reasoning behind the process.

Why the requirement for full time residency in the state of Colorado?
I can think of two reasons, which could probably be debunked:
1) Logistics: It should be easier to transfer Chapter Property at the end of any BOD member's term of service.
2) In the case of malfeasance, home court rules would be straightforward and more easily enforced.

Now that our geographic boundaries have expanded, should our BOD reflect that change?

To make an initial nomination and be eligible to run for office, an individual must meet all of the following requirements:
- A full time resident of Colorado
- A member in good standing (as defined in the National By Laws)
