Old Technician Retiring After 52 years...

There was an old Master auto technician that was retiring after FIFTY years with the same shop. One of the shop's younger technicians, having worked there for five years, had observed some peculiar habits exhibited by the old master tech.

One of the peculiar habits was that each work day, before clocking in, the old master tech would put his lunchbox away, unlock his tools, pull out a little black book that he would open and read from while silently mouthing some words.

Well, the young tech just had to know what was in that book, so he went up to the old master tech and asked him, face to face, "What is it you read in that book each day?"

Well, the old master tech just smiled and handed the book to the young tech.

The young tech opened the book and read the only words entered there:

RIGHTY-TIGHTY; LEFTY LOOSEY.

Nice choice on number of years. Coincidence that my boss has been wrenching in this same spot for 52 years, he started at age 15. ;)

So that's what I'm doing wrong.

Winning.
