NV231 shifting

My 92 231 isn't shifting into 4lo properly. It kind of goes in but doesn't stay. Is it the linkage out of adjustment or a bigger(more expensive) issue

Normally its just a linkage adjustment but don't wait too long because you can cause damage if you let it pop out of gear to often.

another thing to check is the tranny mount and linkage bushings. If either (or both) is bad it will make adjusting the linkage near impossible.....
