New Ram truck. 4WD question.

Was finally time to get a Ram 3500 5.9 cummins. Very happy with it. Figured id post here since i know many of you are Ram owners. If i need to post elsewhere, let me know. One issue, 4wd goes into 4low, Neutral, and 2 high, but won't budge when trying to put it in 4high. Any ideas? Linkage looks fine from what I can see. It's a 2007 Ram 3500 5.9 cummins.

mine requires a little roll to slide into 4h.

Yep, try a slow roll forward as you pull the shift lever.

Do you have the manual transfer case or a switch?

Manual 4wd lever, but the truck has 48re auto trans.

Tried rolling forward and back. Lever still wont budge.

Crawl under it and look at the linkage and have someone jiggle the linkage and watch it. maybe a small hammer to tap lightly

Before you do that, make sure you block a tire or two.
