need some ideas on things to do in Frisco with the lady

My girl wants to go to Frisco for her Bday ...got a room for a few days at the Opal (looks like a classy place)...guess I could do Alcatraz?....maybe a day spa thing for her....but im trying to find some cool stuff to do out there, good eats, etc.......any ideas?

Ferry building on the weekend farmers market van be fun, I think circ de solet is there right now. Lots of fun bars and live music in the grant and green area. Golen gate park has the de young art museum and cal academy of science, and Japanese gardens. Buy her some cheap knock offs in China town. Strangely enough I really like the cheese cake factory IF weather will allow you to eat outside.

i like walking around north beach at night, grab something to eat at one of the good italian places, then maybe wlak through china town for a bit, then walk over to union square, then walk over to russian hill, check out lombard too, then walk over to the warf area . hitting bars the entire way. the soma area has some ok bars too, you walk there from north beach pretty quick, and you can walk down mission and market. also, union square area for some shopping. i walk alot when i go there but everything is so close.

also depending on the dates your out there, slims or bottom of the hill, or the parkside could have some good bands playing.
bottom of the hill and the parkside are kinda close to slims, but i would drive there , but you can walk to slims (11th and harrison) from most places. plus Butter is right across the street and the DNA lounge, those are worth checking out once.

also my personal favorite bar out there is the cozy car. they are set up with cans of pabst for cheap, the bar is modeled to look like a shaggin waggin and the booths are like the inside of an old school shaggin wagon. they also splice porn into cartoons on the Tvs if you pay attention. pretty cool.

also, there are 2 cool tiki bars i like, ones in north beach, and ones inside the fairmont, i think. scorpion bowls are fun thing to do. the one in north beach is cheaper and you get way bigger bowls.

The bar in the fairmont is the Tonga room, it is a lot of fun with fruity drinks, and the fairmont is a cool building itself

Alkatraz is a pretty good tour. I don't know much about eats down there except that the Rainforest Cafe is kinda cool.

Plan ahead and do the Alcatraz night tour. It is awesome, and totally different from the daytime tour. Other than that, its really worth the time to see as much of Golden Gate Park as possible.

The city is really good for drinking and eating...cant really go wrong...just find a pub and drink.

I just remembered, the california acadamy of sciences! It has a three story rainforest with animals flying around in it, an aquarium, and a bunch of other cool sciency stuff. Plus its right in golden gate park next to the deyoung museum and a bunch of other cool stuff. I can't remember the name of it but there is a bar that serves free bacon on sunday, lots of cool stuff in the city actually.
