I have a 2001 XJ Sport 4.0L AW4.

I need a spark plug socket, and brake bleeder wrench. What sizes am I looking for here?

I think the spark plug is 5/8".
I think the brake bleeder nipple is 11mm.
Don't quote me on these, I did them last week and this is what I recall on my 1998.
I can check in the morning.

I think the brake bleeder on my 1999 was 3/8, use the box end wrench

The bleeder on my 99 is 3/8 and it has "peanut plugs" (5/8)

I'm pretty sure the bleeders are 5/16" (or 8mm) and 3/8". Seems like the 5/16" are the rears. Don't quote me on it though.

I got them at my local auto franchise, they sell them in the "HELP" brand section, with the rest of the bleeder screws in that section. The "HELP" brand calls them "ONE MAN JOB, BLEEDER SCREWS". They only have them in the two most popular sizes, 3/8"X24X1.25" and 5/16"X24X1.00", which just happens to be the bleeder screw size for XJ, front and rear.

Now what about a flare nut wrench for the transmission cooler fittings where they meet the radiator?

yea you will need a 13mm for those thats what they were on my 88. the bleeders were 10mm

...Hmmm, why does everyone have metric and standard sizes and not just one of them?
