Ipad/Tablet questions

What do you use yours for?
What kind of apps can you get on them besides games?
Are movies a "logical" option to view on them?


I really like the idea of This.
I am considering making a purchase of a tablet/pad in the near future and would like to hear your input as fellow jeepers.
Any advice or recommendations is appreciated.

A few doctors at work that used to carry around tablet PC's switched over to them. They use a RDP or VNC connection to access their software.

I've been thinking about getting one to use as a remote for my TV. The software I use for my media has an app. The app can be used to browse my movie database start movies on the TV and doubles as a large remote. I think it would make a nice piece on a coffee table. There are also apps to control Denon and Pioneer receivers. If I decide to get one it will be Android based.
