Yes, it's a goofy metric pitch, but it turns out to be incredibly close to a standard American coarse pitch, which is much easier to find. As I said, I can't remember but I think it's 7/16 NC. It's so close you can almost thread the bolts in without retapping. The metric bolt is a loose fit in the NC nut. In any case, when I retapped mine, I did not have to drill. The tap went through easily and salvaged the threads in holes that were otherwise too rusty to use.You would have to drill them larger then tap them to standard pitch. It's a goofy pitch metric and often hard to find. Most fastener shops sell them, but in bags of 25 or 50.
