Does anyone know where to get those nut strips other then the junk yard?

I think the hitch goes inside the skid. Did you try it that way? I think pre 96 the hitch goes on first and 97 up the skid goes on first. May not work with a stock skid and aftermarket hitch, but My Rusty's skid fit and stock hitch like a glove with a little grinding on my '89

It doesn't fit either way. So im just gonna grab a stock hitch.

I went to the stealership. I tried pulling some off in the junk yard but they were incredibly difficult to get off because the strips are riveted to the frame.

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for or not Crimzon. Or, if you found a hitch or not. But I have this laying in my garage. I put a new rear bumper on, and removed this. It's from a 97

I only had the one nut stip? :dunno: Came from the passenger side.

And yeah, I know it's upside down. I laid it like that so I could place the tape measure close to the mounting holes.

i saw somewhere where they are 29.99 or something of that nature online. some mopar site i was looking at a while ago..
