Driveshaft....how much longer with SYE?

I am doing the PORC HD SYE and was wondering how much longer driveshaft is typically needed after doing this. Thanks!

Yeah, the problem is everyone assumes every XJ is an Auto. Mine isn't and thats why i'm just trying to find out b4 the SYE gets here. I'm sort of like the kid who needs to know what he's getting for christmas LOL. WAIT...I am that kid!

OK, yeah I am really not sure how much shorter it is but I guess I will just have to wait and see unless someone chimes in.

How would that work with an AX15 ... acording to crowns website the 89-01 XJ 4.0 auto have the same driveshaft that measures 30.660" collapsed. My stock one was 31.5" center to center. I am running an 8.8 now but originally had a D35.

With my 44 and AX-15 i have to run the RE one, it is 35.5 i belive.

Hmm, ok. So the SYE shortens the shaft by ~4 inches it seems.?.

OK, so after searching I have found that the HD SYE that RE sells requires a shaft thats 4.5" longer. I am pretty sure the length of the PORC and RE SYE are the same.
