broken hood (bonnet) cable - help needed

have 1993 jeep cherokee 4L Ltd (right-hand drive) bonnet cable snapped
unable to lift bonnet (hood) - have tried taking front end off etc etc unable to get in has anyone encountered this problem - can advise how to do it - need to refill oil - screen reservoir etc urgently

would appreciate any advice - help

Headlights have to come out. Then there are 2 screws to be removed that hold the hood latches to the front body crossmember. Once the light bezels are removed there is one screw at about 11 o'clock and then the other is perpendicular to the ground up and behind the first (can't be easily seen). I hope these pictures help.
