Maybe install some dynamat?

my cowl intake uses the stock airbox - so no change in noise in the cabin. The spectre/inline filter intakes are very loud.

replacing the header panel and adding more tube to tie everything together and front stiffeners

Amazing what a little paint will do.

This will be the point where the removable engine hoop will tie into the cage work.

The bottom of the front bumper was all bent out of shape. So it's time to address that.

Been awhile since I've posted... some beautiful work!

that looks awesome

Jeeps really coming out great, one thing id highly sudgest looking into is the TRE at the pitman arm, that is the scorce of all your steering issues and is killing your down travel. either go to a hiem with a high misc spacer or a draglink with a bend to help with angles, one other thing is a WJ grand pitman arm

pitman arm won't really solve the issue, and will create others.

Why not just put a bend in the drag link right before the top joint? You have the technology.

the pitman arm rotates. If you angled the tip, it would not remain at a constant angle through the travel of the arm. At one side of the range it might help the TRE angle, but at the other end of the range it would make it much worse. The flat surface on the tip of the pitman arm must be perpendicular to the sector shaft of the steering box

You could just switch back to a stock pitman arm and get rid of that YJ arm. It will definitely help with drag link angle. Redo your track bar to make it as long as possible and you'll be able to fix your steering problems.

It has a grand waggy pitman arm going to find something with a slight drop like a wj or Tj pitman I think the stock xj pitman will be too much drop.
