Re: 97 XJ 4.0 Oil Pressure with 10w40 & Lucas at warm Idle. Is this normal? (See Pic Try changing the oil pressure sensor. Its not expensive and it backs out with a 1 1/8 socket. I got like 10 more pounds after swapping mine out. The Lucas has to mix with everything for a while too.

Ya I noticed mine actually dropped with new oil(5w-30 high mileage) and a mobil filter. Changed the oil pressure sensor and may swap the pump for a high volume pump.
