Looks like no one has seen one on the driver's side so I am up to the challenge and will post you all a photo when done.:wave1:

Driver's side York air compressor mount

The sanden is on the passenger's side, I want to put it on the driver's side hence what I wrote above.

Driver's side York air compressor mount

Easier! I doubt it would be easier to relocate the battery and then make a mount. Why not just make the mount fit where you need it?

Driver's side York air compressor mount

I recently installed a cowl intake and have room on the driver's side for a York air conditioning compressor. I have not been able to find a mount kit for the Cherokee that fits on the driver's side. I would like to use a York with a serpentine belt pulley. My Cherokee is a 4.0 with factory...

    Homebrewed Fender Flares

I know how you feel on taking a long time. These were pi$$ing me off for a while so I quit and worked on the front and rear bumper. The most time consuming part was cutting out the templates for the mounts and for the sheet metal skins. I only had a jig saw, no plasma handy. Have fun with...

    Homebrewed Fender Flares

Sorry to hear about the $62 ticket. I would be glad to go wheeling sometime with you. Are you involved with any of the 4x4 clubs in Boise? Thanks again everyone for the thumbs up.

    KM2's sipeing questions

Another thing to consider is not to sipe the entire tread. Only sipe the inside treads leaving the outside lugs alone. This will help with the tires from chunking out when driving off road.

    Homebrewed Fender Flares

3/4" EMT, and yes it took me over 2 years to finish. Worked on them here and there but spent the time in between working on the bumpers and the sliders.

    Homebrewed Fender Flares

I do not plan on bracing them. It made the front fender pretty stout without bracing. I reused the factory brace but had to bend it to make it fit. I used conduit because it was cheap. Yes it is weak, but I would rather the flare fold if I hit something hard than it take out the quarter...

    Homebrewed Fender Flares

Well, I got more hours into the flares than probably both bumpers combined. Probably because I had access to a plasma at that time. The new flat fender flares from Bushwacker for the XJ look almost the same but are made from plastic. Bushwacker and I must have been toying with the idea at the...

    Homebrewed Fender Flares

To be honest I was tired of bending metal and thought it would cover just as much.

    Homebrewed Fender Flares

Thanks Tazz and ColoradoRaptor. I like them too. The final pics show the home made bumpers and rock sliders which were completed before I finished the fender flares.

    Homebrewed Fender Flares

Continued: Homebrewed Fender Flares So, after all the hours of labor and hard work here is the final product. So......If I had to do it all over again I would. My wife did not like me spending all the time on them. I did get a little frustrated trying to bend the tubing and...

    Homebrewed Fender Flares

Continued: Homebrewed Fender Flares Here is a pic of the textured coating. I did not like the transition between the fender flare and the body so I picked up some black VW beetle fender beading from the local Bow-Wow. Here I am applying the beading. Had to cut some relief cuts in the...

    Homebrewed Fender Flares

Continued: Homebrewed Fender Flares The next order of business was to use some filler to smooth the transition between the skin and the tube, sorry forgot to take pictures. I then primed the entire fender and used some black seam sealer to caulk the underside of the tubes. After...

    Homebrewed Fender Flares

Continued: Homebrewed Fender Flares I then began tacking the skins on. After tacking them on I took the fenders off and welded the skins to the backing inside and out. I then stitch welded the skin to the tube and took the flapper disc to the skin at the tube and to the backing.

    Homebrewed Fender Flares

Two years ago I started making some tube fender flares to cover the 33" tires I had because I wanted to be legal and not get stopped for the tires sticking out. I looked around and back then no one made a decent fender flare for the Cherokee but Rusty's and Bushwacker. I did not like the look...

    Gear upgrade

What kind of fuel economy are you getting running this combo at 70? I'm going on a trip with 3.54's and coming back with 4.88's? I have 33's too.
