I would buy this but I'm in the middle of a move and I've got to go back to Texas for work in a few days.
I thought someone else might be able to use the parts rig.
It would take me too long to go get it and haul it back and find a spot where nobody would see it while I picked it's bones.

searched but didn't quite find what i was looking for... I had rats under my hood again, is the aw4 solenoid set vacuum or electric? I havn't been under it to check but I had to patch up the harness and the solenoids don't operate now. Transmission shifts manually with no issues
Driving home from work, Maine to Oklahoma, and spotted two good looking white rigs in the walmart parking lot in between lake Washington and stewart international airport.
Just wanted to say hey, if you are on here, and happy trails!
Have fun out there,
Trent
I'd like to go about 3 inches over stock for the new suspension on the red jeep, but was wondering anyone had the same lift and if it affected the gas milage
So - Does this mean it fragged or am I looking at something else? This is on a parts vehicle I've been tinkering with trying to get it running, started smoking after driving home from getting it tagged at 55-65 mph. All Stock. 1988 Laredo.
Found one locally for sale, unknown condition, would like to know if a complete swap is possible, if not just the engine, what other controls would need to be brought over? thanks Trent
Im torn between a new vehicle that will be more reliable, and a better starting point for a rig, but my old faithful could be saved still I guess. When did you decide to junk an old friend? Or is it sitting under a tree somewhere in the back?

I'm planning on doing a 4.5" lift now, go 2-3 inches higher on down the line, but debating whether to buy the AAL basic 4.5" kit or the full 4.5" with springs
also the kit in the link is priced for 4.5" w/ sye & cv driveshaft
anyone know of a better place to look? or a better deal :yap:
OKAY
So
I bought this rig offline, It was in storage for about 4 years in a field.
trailored it home, put a tow bar on it and pulled it down the the hotel I'm staying at for work.
The wiring was eaten by rats - I spliced and cobbled, and heat shrunk it all back together.
I changed the...
I'm in the process of replacing my harness, and the injectors on the new setup are not numbered... can anyone tell me on a renix XJ, what color wires correspond to what injector numbers and if they are numbered front to back or back to front?
thanks in advance
I was thinking about making a camping trailer again, just curious if any one in the okc area has a 2 door model good from the firewall back. doesn't matter if its 4x4 or 2x4. Plan on stripping the interior so that doesn't matter either.
So, the scrap yard near me charges an arm and a leg for EVERYTHING.
I want to transfer some manual window components into my in my 4 door '89 with power and delete the wiring,
from some people who have switched before, is it easier to swap the entire door or the guts of it?
if the guts are a...
So I'm going to be buying drop brackets soon, until I can save up enough to do the full long arm kit.
I've found two decent looking and fairly common sets out there, the RE9000+RE9005 from Rubicon Express and the Rough Country 1627 brackets.
Does anyone have experiance with these two? and if...
Does anyone wheel with an Iron Rock long arm kit? I'm looking at the 5.5" for my '89 and am wondering how well it holds up and what else needs to be purchased in tandem to make it both road and trail worthy. Also if you don't like it, what other options should I be looking at?
Anywhere to wheel in fort stockton area or is it all private land? I'll be working down here until August and am thinking about going to get my XJ
Post # 555
Well, it's been awhile since i was active on here, I've gone to work for a company that keeps me moving around the country and am currently in Australia hiding from the winter and doing some troubleshooting. The poor old cherokee will probably need a complete overhaul by the time i get to it...
