This is my current situation to the left of the battery is the speaker cable and a everyday extension cord which is routed through the firewall up the pillar and pops out the roof (poorly sealed might i add) the thinner red cable is broken off and has power but im not sure what it is for...

Thanks the more i look at it i agree rather than fix one thing and realize another issue i am probably better off getting rid of 27 almost 28yr old wiring that is relatively simple to replace. hope to get quite a bit done this weekend i will update then

Hello i was on here years ago as in high school i had an 01 xj eventually 5.5" Long arm fancy custom drive shafts etc but it was my daily and i got a gf who lived an hour away and 35" tires on the highway 50 miles back and forth was no bueno on gas or the jeep so off it went. I grew up i guess...
