I am the second owner of this XJ and it has seen 0 trail use and constant babying. The first owner of the XJ was the CEO of 4wdparts magazine and it was used as a cover model. I have a few copies of the magazines if you would like as well.

Ok this totally belongs in OEM but I need a faster answer. What is the width of the tubes on an XJ 44. I need to buy ubolts and I'm going to get some generic ones from advanced autoparts or something like that.

There are some public trails as well. Can't remember what road they are off of but there are jeep tours that go on them. Silverlake kicks ass. I was trying to plan a trip this summer but I'm not sure its going to happen.

I would say BDS, DPG, (Do Atlas and Deaver make coils?). OME are great for low lifts. RE/Rusty's I'm pretty sure are exactly the same and they are Mid-grade. No idea why people are saying they are the best..
You are missing some very vital steps to messing with a suspension.
* If you lift it you MUST align it its not even a question. Aligning an XJ is very simple and a very easy DIY job. http://www.go.jeep-xj.info/HowtoAlignment.htm
* When you lift an XJ your stock trackbar will be too short...
