Sorry I can't really answer that. I am not sure what the stock seats were like. I do not feel like I am sitting low when sitting in them, and they are very comfortable even for a big guy like myself.

The more I look at it, I think if the wheels were black and you had your 35's on it it might work as it is.:dunno::dunno:

I don't see the Cabarnet RED in it at all. It is Plum pretty though. Maybe some black stripes is all that it needs. It is different, and as long as you and Dawn like it who cares... Did it always have Chrome handles and mirrors? That color makes the bling.....bling!

My XJ has Subaru Impreza WRX STI seats in it. They are super comfortable. I have just recently purchased this XJ from another NAXJA member, he did all of the mods to it so far. He also put the steeing wheel in it from the Subaru as well. Here is a pic..
