I second this and other posts regarding battery. I have a '90 XJ. Get a new AGM (+ a new charger that knows how to charge it).

This has been my experience. My 90 XJ DD doesn't see any adverse conditions. Use to have a nice clean engine bay before.

This is normal operation for me with my 90' RENIX. Measured at the cigarette lighter port, usually just a little over 9v. With a new AGM battery, I usually also experience a longer crank of 3-5 sec's if the vehicle has sat for awhile. If the battery is fully recharged or I have a solar panel...

That JVC looks pretty good, same for the DUAL. Any radio under $100 that has USB and Bluetooth is a good deal. This is mainstream stuff. These radios are almost becoming a consumble item. You start looking at radios that are not mainstream and watch the price skyrocket. I as well probably shared...

Yikes! Now what about all those threads stating that removing the heater bypass valve is the thing to do with no consequences? Glad I keep mine in.

I installed this JVC KD-R840BT in my 90' RENIX a few years ago. Inexpensive and great features at the time (still). Sure it has a light show when reset but it is easily configurable to your liking in a few minutes without a manual (setting the time as well). I recommend it. I made a YouTube...

I'll see what I can dig up on these Cooper's. Around here in Canada, I've got a feeling I'm going to be paying around $200 CAN / tire when I find something.

More so basic rain during the warm seasons. Once water starts to freeze around here, I'll have my winter tires on by then. I'll look into the Falken Wildpeak AT3W and the Hankook Dynapro ATM.

On-line reviews seem to have many negative response on these. Same kind of overall responses on the BF Goodrich's. I'll take a deeper dive into the KO2's.
