A little more than a year ago my 2000 Classic's head cracked (didn't know it then) while hunting and blew a hole in the radiator in the process. After hours of nursing it along with creek water and the like was able to find a little market and was able to patch the hole in the radiator well...

I unhooked my battery overnight (didn't mean to for that long, just forgot) then blew out the connectors for the PCM, used dielectric grease on them. Hooked everything back up. started it up, idling high... i got in, the extended idle switch was on, turned it off. idles perfect. problem solved...
