THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Nice job on the cabinet Bill.

I have 0 woodworking tools. I just ordered a cheap wood blade for my chopsaw so I can at least cut shit
Thanks. Still a few weekends and nights to go.

I had not much either but I've been picking up a lot lately and during the house build.

I could use a cabinet table saw. Mine has just to small a table, plenty of power though for my needs (2HP). I would love a Powermatic or Rockwell. Having to rip 4x8 sheets with a skill saw first just kills time.

Yeah I can imagine.

I think I'm going to buy the 20V Li-ion Dewalt sawzall since I have two batteries with the drill I bought.

I like the idea of a cordless sawzall and I don't have one at all right now, I was just borrowing my father's ancient craftsman corded one. I have an inverter I keep in my truck so having the sawzall with me on wheeling weekends or something could be useful.

I never thought I'd like the cordless sawzall, but I've got the 18V Dewalt one and it works great. It does have limited power compared to a corded model though.

Yeah I'm skeptical too, but this drill flat out kicks ass.

Don't get me wrong, if I didn't have one it would be on my list to purchase.
It is very handy. I got it in the 4 pack kit with the 1/4" impact driver (this I couldn't live without now), 1/2" drill, sawzall, and light (kinda useless).

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

someone at my office just reheated something weird in the microwave, now the entire break room smells like really bad B.O.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

before o knew what a angle grider was i always used a skillsaw with a metal blade, dide a few exhaust with it, even chopped the roof off my friends s10 blazer. so glad i got the right tools now

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Colin what drill did you get? i need a new one, and a new angle grinder too, gotta stopp buying cheap shit

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Unless you actually *need* the functionality of a cordless sawzall, I'd just spend the same amount on a corded one and get a beefier saw. Battery life generally brings the suck.

I don't know if they changed it or not but in the past I've had shitty luck with that lever action blade release on the Dewalt saws. Sucks when the rest of the saw far outlasts the blade holder.
