I thought Id share my new shift knob to you guys. Its a real grenade shift knob I made for my automatic 1990 cherokee. Yes I kept the safety button for the transmission. You have to push down on the lever of the grenade to shift it into gear.

He is no longer your friend....

I like everything you did to your jeep. BTW what did you do to it

Other than the poop pipe bolted to his stock front bumper, the roof rack, the cab lights meant for something like my F350, and the window rain cover things........... the color is nice.

While the clearance lights on a stock height XJ are kinda funny, there is no need to be a dick. !!!1

you sure that's at stock height? Those tires look like they could be 31s or 32s. I dig the grenade, too bad he couldn't shorten the shifter rethread and then mount the grenade. it looks kinda tall.

Sorry, if I knew your skin was that thin I'd have tried harder.

I like the cab lights. :dunno:

Don't get me wrong, I love cab lights... they just look out of place on anything smaller than a one ton. I mean maybe if he at least had one ton axles...

make sure your state doesn't have a law against "replica ordinance". In some states that could get you in a HEAP of trouble. Personally, I would have gone for an M68 body to keep the modern look, the MKII is very dated ;)

Well I mainly posted this thread to just show off the shifter since I thought others might want to do it for their automatic shifter. To be honest I dont really care what anyone says about my cars. The only thing that really matters is that I like it since Im the one driving it. In reality its just a daily driver I built into a camping rig. No major offroading will be done in it and I want to maintain nice onroad manners since I have to drive this everyday and I cant afford to pay a ton for gas that comes with the bigger lift. As far as mods go I replaced the 2WD trans and threw a 4WD trans and 242Tcase in it. Did a 2inch budget boost lift. Repainted the jeep cause it was all fading. Its rolling on 31Inch tires with Dwindows. Added the roofrack to store camping gear, rearmount tire rack, front hellas, cab lights, rocker guards. Roof mounted solar panel with secondary deep cycle battery to power camping lights, radio and small electrical items. Installed 2 sound bars, overhead console, CB radio/PA system. Engine is pretty much stock with Ford injectors, K&N reusable filter.

The only way you could be a harder dick is if you overdose on viagra... err.... moreso than usual.

I wouldn't put much stock in mcwhatever's comments. I always liked military themed Jeeps, and even though I'm not a fan of the grenade shift knob I think everyone's entitled to a quirky mod or two. It's what makes your stuff stand out from the rest of the sheeple.

I wouldn't do it to mine but I think it's a cool shifter. I like the build over all as well.
