Your Opinions: Best trails in the Midwest

I'm planning a 4-5 day camping trip and would like some suggestions. I'm trying to keep it within an 8 hour drive from NW Indiana (Chicago area). Principle activities will be off-roading (obviously) and mountain biking. Keep in mind there must be enough trails to keep things interesting for 4-5 days.

Never been there but I hear Calhoon county IL, which is right north of St. Louis between the IL and MS. rivers, is full of dirt/gravel roads.
It is very hilly and scenic. That might be worth checking out.
I have always wanted to go there to see for my self.

The best trails I've wheeled in the midwest are available only through Two Rivers Jeep Club. It's an all-Jeep club that wheels on private land and sponsors two events each year that are open to the public (first 150 vehicles, anyway). They run everything from scenic gravel roads to trails even the most gnarly rigs will find worthy.
The next public event is August 19-21. Check it out: http://www.trjc.com
If you run one event, you'll want to join!

tellico's almost in that range.

Hey, 8 hrs gets me to the top of the UP or to KY. There's got to be something worthwhile between Pennsylvania and Colorado
