Yet another TC Lock Question

90 AW4.. When I am comming of the highway onto a long offramp, and let the XJ slow on its own ( no gas no brake ) I am experiencing rpm flux's of 200-250 rpm up down up down ( I think its the TC Locking and unlocking ? ) It cant seem to decide where it wants to be. When the brake is applied lightly, it does it one or two more times and then settles fine. I have 0 shifting issues other then this. It shifts great any other time both up and down ? . The only other issue is when I stop, after I release the brake something is settling back and i get a clunk ( although a very smooth non harsh kind ) although somethign is settling back in place. Motor mounts look good , Tranny mount im 50/50 on but is tight . this "settling back" will not happen if I use the brakes after popping it into N. ( or baby it to the stop with brakes but on off lightly ?) TIA on any replies. This forum has my 4.0 running great ?? and has saved me countless $$$ im sure . PS this XJ has no lift although it sits at 18"F and 18" rear. ( from center of axel to flare) 235's for rubber. Tranny fluid ok although its getting changed today but only driveway style with a new filter)
Sorry for being long winded must be the espresso lol.........edit>> the TPS is 2 months old and in spec at 83% / .8 volt.
