I attended an eco-friendly presentation on wrenching at Rube Goldberg's house

most interesting part was the use of reclaimed wood

the open air shop was quite refreshing, especailly with the soft breeze of the airplane idling 15 feet away

I also learned that if you yell "it's fine, it's fine" loud enough you can't hear the other 4 people yelling the jeeps about to flip over, and yes, those are jack stands sitting around, not in use

That is scary...........I wouldn't be caught near the thing let alone under it.

cinder blocks FTW!!!!

thinking about using a set for lift blocks on my '00, with the holes already in them they have to be aerodynamic right?

Wow... Wow... I can't... just wow.

I know an XJ weights nothing without half of the power-train, but golly that is just sketchy.

safety is always a prime concern.
You really bring awesome to a whole new level. :)

Probably better off than using those HF jack stands.

alright, hopefully picking up a hitch this week so I can trailer back my/your spoils, I'll grab it then

That's a f'ed up mess right there. Last month a guy I know was working on car and had it up only by a floor jack with a wheel off doing brakes. He had his one leg under the car and I thought thats stupid. Then I remembered that was his fake leg so I figured it must be OK(true story):gee:
