XJ tear-down and parts sale!!!

I am getting alot of PM's for folks wanting things. I want to be very fair to folks. This rig will go to the boneyard once it is stripped down/parted out. I will not be holding anything for anybody. I plan on tearing it apart this weekend and having it hauled away sometime the following week, unless I hit a snag.

Also, I am will not be shipping anything, anywhere. Not being a jerk, just don't have the time and don't want the hassle.

The only thing available on the driveline is the AW4 tranny.

The Jeep has 93,000 miles on it.

I will be moving this post to the for sale section since it has become mostly about selling. I will start another thread about the work party.

If you buy the 242 23 spline in the for sale section change the input shaft on the TC, or change the output shaft on the tranny (is that possible?)

If you can change the output shaft the AW4 is a piece of cake to work on.

Mirror will probably go with the doors. Not sure.

The lid for coin holder is there. Console lid has broken clip, but is there.

thanks for the info fortunately leep found me a trans that will fit no problem. still if anyone needs help im out and ready to work!

I have to check with the guy buying the doors. If he wants them, they stay. If not, I will have to let you know.

I need the glove box door, both a piller plastic (with the little caps if possible) and the plastic off the seats, if the new owners don't want them but that is a long shot.
 
If you plan on coming to get things or just to help, or hang out. Please post up in my other thread so I will know who's coming.

I will have a list of what people said they wanted. I need to know if you are showing up or not. I have many PM's about the same parts. I am trying to keep it first come first served. I am using the date stamp on the post or PM. It's the only fair way I know of, even though I said no dibs.

Im sorry Robert I had a last minute emergency where I have to go out of town across country just my luck everytime I find a AW4 for my jeep something comes up and causes me to pass on it. If you still have it when I get back in town I would gladly take it but if you find someone else who needs it go ahead and let them take it. Sorry to screw up your sale.
